Preparation of tablets, capsules and powders from medicinal
plants by washing,
drying and grinding them, then the mixed powders are prepared
in the form of granules.
The granules are compressed into tablets or filled into capsules
or packets, using tablet machine, or capsule filling machine
or packet filling machine.
2.
Preparation of syrups by extracting the medicinal plants in
water (Decoction) then adding sugar and presentatives.
3.
Freeze-drying: this method is used to prepare substances
which are sensitive to heat in the form of pure powder without
subjecting them to heat using a suitable apparatus named freeze-dryer.
